Two years ago you were brought to The Lab (for reasons of security the information of your exact location was withheld) under the assumption that you would be taking part in an experimental study of how to create the perfect team of soldiers. There were twenty of you, brought together from all over the country, with no prior knowledge of one another. Your training has taken various forms over this time, but the apparent focus is hand-to-hand. This has been understandable, as it enables you to go into an environment with less supplies, be less suspicious, etc. etc.
Throughout all this time you have lived exclusively at The Lab and seem to have very much become the team you were supposed to. Three months ago, however, things began to change drastically. The first incident was the death of your team leader. It appeared to have been an accident during a training exercise, but the details are rather sketchy… Then you began to be isolated from the outside world. Internet access, television, radios… All and more has been taken away. Six of your team have also been removed. Questions about their removal has garnered no real answers, most have been blown off with a simple, ‘They no longer met the requirements.’
The first two left before internet access was taken away and both were found to have become employed as bodyguards to extremely high-up people within two days of leaving. This, of course, has aroused suspicion, as well as how all of their behavior changed before leaving. For lack of a better word, they became… zombies. And all had been singled out to take part in unknown activities before their departure. Were they turned into fighting machines and little else, the remotes being handed off to the highest bidder?
At present time, the remaining thirteen in the group are finding themselves increasingly depersonalized and the stress and frustration often boil over. The only thing obvious anymore is that this experiment has run its course and it’s time for you to find a way out…
~~~~~~~~~~~
So… rules!
- No more than two characters per person.
- Human charries only.
- Try to make them in their mid-twenties at the least.
- And all the basic rules of RPing, o’ course. No GMing, PPing, etc.
Just post your characters here with the basic info (name, age, personality, appearance, background, etc.) and we’ll get started!
